Averaging agreements can be really useful when you have employees on flexible or irregular schedules, but you have to ensure they meet local employment standards.
Our reusable template is designed to make averaging agreements easy for employers in British Columbia.

What is an averaging agreement?
Averaging agreements are formal arrangements between an employer and an employee that allow the employee’s working hours to be averaged over a set period of time, rather than being assessed on a daily or weekly basis.
They can be used to accommodate irregular or seasonal work schedules, give employees more flexibility, and reduce the need for overtime payments (as long as the average hours don't exceed the legal limits).
